​Xcelerate NC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in North Carolina, USA. ​Our mission is to accelerate the growth of young minds and help them excel.
​
Xcelerate NC was formed in spring of 2020 by the brother-sister duo of Anirudh and Aditi Sengupta. We offer engaging online classes in Math, Public Speaking, and Computer Programming. Xcelerate NC has impacted more than 3,500 children globally till date.
Math

At Xcelerate NC, we believe learning Math can be fun and exciting. We would like to share some of the innovative approaches, concepts, and strategies that we have learned and applied over the years.
​Public Speaking

Public Speaking builds up confidence, improves communication skills, and helps in overall growth. Mastering public speaking techniques from an early age can benefit us throughout our lives.
Programming

Computer Programming is becoming a more integral part of our lives everyday. Learning how to code fosters creativity and innovation, while also improving critical thinking and problem solving skills.

​ACTIVITIES IN US
2025 PYTHON PROGRAMMING SUMMER CAMP

In August of 2025, Xcelerate NC conducted its second Python Programming Summer Camp. In the three-week camp, students in grades 6-10 were taught basic and advanced python programming concepts. At the end of the camp, the students presented project that they built using the tools they learned during the camp.
2024 PYTHON PROGRAMMING SUMMER CAMP

In June of 2024, Xcelerate NC conducted its first Python Programming Summer Camp. In the three-week camp, students in grades 4-8 learned the fundamentals of python and were introduced to the world of programming.
2023 MATHLETE SUMMER CAMP

In June of 2023, Xcelerate NC conducted the Mathlete Summer Camp for students in grades 4-8, teaching introductory competitive math skills. Every session of the three week long camp included different strategies and techniques to solve problems in competitions like MathCounts, MathCon, and Math Kangaroo.

​2022 XPRESS MATH COMPETION

In December 2022, Xcelerate NC conducted the 3rd annual Xpress Math Competition for students in grades 3-7. Xpress Math is a timed test of speed and skill.
We raised funds for the CMS Programs for Exceptional Children from all proceeds collected from Xpress Math. These funds are used to buy sensory devices and other aids for exceptional children.
​"Education in the Times of the Pandemic and the Way Forward"

​An International Panel Discussion -  April 2021
Xcelerate NC organized an online International Panel Seminar on April 10, 2021 to discuss the impact of the pandemic on the education of children globally. The objective of this seminar was to learn and share the different perspectives on the topic from educators, students, and mental health professionals.


ACTIVITIES IN TANZANIA

​Xcelerate NC partnered with help2kids, a non-profit organization in Tanzania to volunteer and conduct Public Speaking & Math classes for secondary school students. 

​The weekly sessions taught the children the nuances of giving speeches and debate preparation. The math classes helped them learn innovative techniques to solve problems.

ACTIVITIES IN SIERRA LEONE
Xcelerate NC partnered with Develop Africa, a nonprofit working to establish meaningful and sustainable development in Africa. As part of this collaboration, Xcelerate NC conducted free weekly sessions in Public Speaking and English Grammar with a secondary school student in Sierra Leone.
ACTIVITIES IN INDIA

Xcelerate NC conducted a Free Public Speaking Workshop for school children in India. The goal of the online workshop was to create awareness about the importance of public speaking and to teach the basics of Speech and Debate.

Students from different parts of India - Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Noida/Delhi participated in the workshop.
