Xcelerate NC was formed in spring of 2020 by the brother-sister duo of Anirudh and Aditi Sengupta. We offer engaging online classes in Math, Public Speaking, and Computer Programming. |

2024 PYTHON PROGRAMMING SUMMER CAMP
In June of 2024, Xcelerate NC conducted its first Python Programming Summer Camp. In the three-week camp, students in grades 4-8 learned the fundamentals of python and were introduced to the world of programming. At the end of the camp, students presented projects which they built using the tools they learned during the camp. |
2023 MATHLETE SUMMER CAMP
In June of 2023, Xcelerate NC conducted the Mathlete Summer Camp for students in grades 4-8, teaching introductory competitive math skills. Every session of the three week long camp included different strategies and techniques to solve problems in competitions like MathCounts, MathCon, and Math Kangaroo. |

An International Panel Discussion - April 2021
Xcelerate NC organized an online International Panel Seminar on April 10, 2021 to discuss the impact of the pandemic on the education of children globally. The objective of this seminar was to learn and share the different perspectives on the topic from educators, students, and mental health professionals.
ACTIVITIES IN TANZANIA
Xcelerate NC partnered with help2kids, a non-profit organization in Tanzania to volunteer and conduct Public Speaking & Math classes for secondary school students. The weekly sessions taught the children the nuances of giving speeches and debate preparation. The math classes helped them learn innovative techniques to solve problems. |
