2022 Xpress Math Competition

In December 2022, Xcelerate NC conducted the 3rd annual Xpress Math Competition for students in grades 3-7. Xpress Math is a timed test of speed and skill.

We raised funds for the CMS Programs for Exceptional Children from all proceeds collected from Xpress Math. These funds are used to buy sensory devices and other aids for exceptional children

Competitive Math Prep Summer Camp - June-July 2022

In the summer of 2022 Xcelerate NC conducted a three week Competitive Math Prep Summer Camp, in which students in grades 4-7 learned skills and strategies for specific competitions like Math Kangaroo, MathCounts, and Math Olympiad. Each week students focused on one competition, learning tactics and solving problems to help them succeed in that competition.

Second Annual "Xpress Math Competition" - December 2021  

Xcelerate NC conducted its Second Annual "Xpress Math Competition" for students from 3rd - 6th grade. It  was held in two categories and tested the students for speed and skill. The competition helped raise funds for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) Exceptional Children's Program.

Competitive Math Summer Camp -  2021

In 2021, Xcelerate NC conducted summer camps focused on Competitive Math. We held daily sessions for six weeks for 4th - 6th graders. Students learned concepts and skills to help prepare them for math competitions like Math Kangaroo, Math Madness, and Math Olympiad.

Through these camps, we raised funds for Breast Cancer Hub and help2kids.

​An International Panel Discussion -  April 2021

Xcelerate NC organized an online International Panel Seminar on April 10, 2021 to discuss the impact of the pandemic on the education of children globally. The objective of this seminar was to learn and share the different perspectives on the topic from educators, students, and mental health professionals.

First Annual "Xpress Math Workshop & Competition" -  December 2020  

Xcelerate NC conducted its First Annual "Xpress Math Workshop & Competition" in December 2020. It was a fundraiser to support the local schools and teachers during the ongoing pandemic. The event was hosted over two weekends helping students with various Math techniques. The competition was a test of Math skills and speed. It was attended by students from 3rd - 5th grade and was a big success. 

Xcelerate NC 2020 Summer Camps 

Xcelerate NC conducted FREE online sessions for about 50 Elementary  school students in the summer of 2020. Our students enjoyed the unique opportunity of interacting and learning alongside their peers from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. We conducted over sixty hours of virtual sessions in Public Speaking and Math.

Parents of Xcelerate NC students made generous donations to Breast Cancer Hub, a NC based non-profit working on saving lives through awareness.
